Casino Increases Traffic with Entertaining Video Wall
Overview
Issue

Casino Partouche wanted to incorporate digital display solutions to enhance the atmosphere and attract restaurant patrons to the casino. The initial plans required a large video wall, because Casino Patouche knew a big image in high resolution would grab people’s attention immediately.

Solution

To create a truly awe-inspiring video wall, Casino Partouche went to a trusted System Integrator (SI) to learn about the best video wall technology on the market. The SI recommended BenQ’s Super Narrow Bezel Display for its ultra-narrow bezel design which allowed the 32 piece, 8x4 video wall to look nearly seamless between displays. Moreover, the color calibration software can accurately and efficiently detect any color irregularities before creating a uniform color profile in seconds, for a flawless viewing experience.

Result

The System Integrator suggested the PL460 Super Narrow Bezel Display for its high dynamic contrast ratio and HD picture quality. After daisy chaining multiple displays together, the casino achieved its desired effect—a massive display wall that amazed patrons and could present brand messages and casino information.

Challenge

Casino Partouche is a French entertainment company with a focus on restaurants and casinos. Although Partouche has been around since the 1930s, it didn’t acquire its first casino until 1973. Partouche’s owners salvaged the former failing casino by reinventing it as a family-focused establishment. Over the years, Casino Partouche saw an increase in casino patrons, however, it wanted to turn its restaurant guests into gamblers and it needed to attract them in a big way.

To transition from meal time to gabling time and attract new clientele, Casino Partouche envisioned a large video wall that could present brand messaging and pertinent gambling information. Casino Partouche needed a large living image with high resolution capabilities to bring in new customers, and keep casino patrons entertained for hours; casino management felt that BenQ’s Super Narrow Bezel Display provided the best video quality at scale.

Solution

Upon hearing from a trusted system integrator with a long established relationship with Partouche that BenQ had the best digital video wall displays available on the market, the casino placed an order with BenQ for its PL460 displays. Joining numerous displays together was a cinch because it didn’t require a complicated setup, moreover its’ powerful color calibration system made it easy to instantly adjust displays to create a uniform color palette across all displays with the press of a button.

For the casino, getting new clients into the casino was imperative. But in order to do just that, the casino needed a means of advertising to restaurant goers without it seeming too obvious. The video wall gave Casino Partouche a means of delivering casino information in between brand messaging and beautiful images displayed in large scale. In addition, BenQ-exclusive Multiple Display Administrator (MDA) gave the display’s operators the tools to control screens from a central hub, making it easy to blank individual displays and monitor display status remotely.

Result

The casino was very happy with the results, one system administrator said the daisy chain display wall “is amazing!” After the display was installed the casino saw an increase in new clientele, as customers from the restaurant flooded the casino floors after their meals. The high definition images were not only attractive, but they accurately displayed the brand messages and important casino information that informed diners as they ate, ultimately piquing their interests.

The powerful BenQ MDA software made it easy to turn off screens that were not needed, so during times with low-traffic, sections of the video wall could be put to sleep. In addition, color correction could be done with a simple press of a button. Across the entire video wall, the colors could be corrected to present an accurate uniform color palette in seconds. In the end, Casino Partouche knew it had made the right decision by trusting its system integrator and going with BenQ digital display solutions.
